SUMMER CAMP:  SAVE THE DATE!   We are very excited to offer a NEW type of summer camp this year.   We will offering classes on specific techniques that will enhance and improve our students performing abilities. 

         

Dates: August 1-6 (Mon-Sat)

Time:  9:00 am-12:00 pm

Schedule:

Monday and Tuesday- Dance Technique (Jazz, Ballet, Modern & Hip Hop)

Wednesday and Thursday- Acting (Improv, Dialects,Stage Presence & Cold Reads)

Friday-Vocal Training/Technique: pop, classical, opera & BeltSaturday- Auditioning workshops- Mock Auditions

Price: $80 per student for entire week/ $50 for two days/ $30 for one day

Register before July 1 and receive $10 off per student (full week registration only)

Important News for ShowStoppers!

1)  NO CLASSES next week due to Spring Break.  We hope you enjoy your time off!  (Keep listening to your CDs and practice at home!)

2)  TUITION #4 is due this week.  Please turn your tuition in on time to avoid late fees...if your not able to get your check to the studio you can mail them to me at 1240 S. Prince's Circle Syracuse UT 84075.  Due date for tuition is by the 10th of every month...even with Spring break being over that week.

3)  Auditions for specialty numbers will be held April 12th, 13th & 14th.  Students were given information about auditions last week.  There are sign up sheets at the studio, so that you can choose a time that fits best for your schedule.  Remember...specialty numbers are not the solos or parts given during class time...these are "extra" opportunities that each student can audition for if your student chooses.

5)  Ticket sales:  We will be sending ticket packets home during the month of May.  Please start talking to friends and family about our up coming show...so that we can sale enough tickets to fill the Roy Auditorium! 

6)  Back by request:  Show Stopper Stuff!  A display table will be set up in the studio foyer in the next few weeks with order forms if you are interested in purchasing any hats, shirts, sweats/pants...etc!

7)  PLEASE CHECK YOUR CALENDAR for rehearsal and performances dates....don't plan your families next trip right in the middle of performance time!  (If you have lost your calendar we have some at the studio...or email me and I can send you a new one!)

8)  Don't wait until last minute to get your white tights & white leotards (for girls)....purchase them soon!  We have links on our website or you can go to "Putting on the Glitz" in Ogden...for a SS discount.

First Two Weeks of Class!

Hey Everyone,

We've had a great first two weeks of class!  This show is going to be a blast. Such great kids to work with, fun music...will all lead to a great show.

Just a couple of things to mention...if you have friends that are interested in joining, there is still time, bring them to class with you!

Also, please try and get your photo permission signed and turned in so we can start posting some pictures of the classes on here.  If you have any questions, let us know!
